Principle Alignment
This policy is guided by:
- Bushidō (Way of Integrity): ASC is committed to honest, transparent, and ethical communication in all marketing and student information.
- Wa (Harmony): Fostering trust and inclusion through clear, accurate information for every prospective and current student.
1. Purpose
To ensure all ASC marketing, advertising, and student information is accurate, ethical, compliant with RTO Standards, and supports informed student decision-making.
2. Scope
Covers all College marketing and information activities:
- Website, digital/social media
- Print materials (course guides, flyers, posters)
- Public events, workshops, Open Days
- Email, paid ads, and third-party/student platforms
- Any communication that may affect enrolment or participation
3. Key Principles
- Accuracy & Honesty:
- No statement is materially false or misleading; all info (codes, outcomes, fees, funding, refunds) is current and correct.
- Transparency:
- ASC name, RTO number, and full qualification/course name and code are shown on all regulated materials.
- Ethical Practice:
- No misleading comparisons, improper testimonials, or false claims about recognition or outcomes.
- Consistency:
- Messaging, branding, and content reflect ASC values and regularly reviewed for currency.
- Informed Choice:
- Prospective students receive full details on course, fees, refund, RPL, entry, obligations, and complaint rights.
- Physical and inherent requirements of the course — prospective students are provided with, or directed to, the Reasonable Adjustment Guide — ASC-Specific Adjustments and Inherent Requirements as part of pre-enrolment information, so they can assess whether the course requirements are compatible with their individual circumstances before confirming enrolment.
- Disability support information — information about ASC’s reasonable adjustment process, how to request support, and who to contact is included in or linked from all enrolment packages, the course prospectus, and the ASC website.
- Website accessibility — ASC’s website includes an accessibility statement that describes access options available for the website itself and directs users with access needs to a contact point. Disability support information is accessible within the first two levels of website navigation (i.e. without requiring more than two clicks from the home page).
- Compliance:
- Meets all ASQA, NCVER, and any funding contractual requirements.
4. Marketing and Student Information Standards

- All regulated materials must display ASC name, RTO code (3609), and full course/qualification details.
- Outcomes, pathways, and funding/fees are always accurate and up-to-date.
- No material is released until approved by the Marketing Coordinator (or delegate) and recorded in the Marketing Register.
4.2 Third-Party Marketing
- Any use of agents/affiliates/third parties requires written agreement, monitoring, and quality control.
4.3 Publication & Distribution
- All approved materials published via authorised channels; reviewed at least twice annually for compliance/currency.
4.4 Corrections & Complaints
- All errors, misleading statements, or complaints about ASC communications are escalated to the Marketing Coordinator for immediate correction.
- The Complaints and Appeals Policy applies to any disputes.
5. Quality Assurance & Record-Keeping
